• The next SWVADA Board meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on  January 16, 2012 at Hollywood's in Hollins. Come join us before the meeting for dinner at 6:00pm.
  

• Pictures, advertisements, and submissions to the professional directory are welcome. Postings  are free to members. If you are a non-member, contact the webmaster for pricing.
  

• Effective March 1, 2011, for dressage:
  

For Licensed Shows: anyone mounted on a horse must wear protective headgear except those riders age 18 and over while on horses that are competing only in FEI levels and tests at the Prix St. Georges level and above (including FEI Young Rider Tests, the USEF Developing Prix St. Georges Test and the USEF Brentina Cup Test).

For Schooling shows: Anyone mounted on a horse must wear wear protective headgear, with no exceptions.
