Students will learn about German culture and the training, riding, breeding, showing, and marketing of German warmblood horses in a unique, experiential fashion. The students will take riding and theory lessons and will visit most of the major breeding and training centers while they are in the country. The course is partially funded by the Department of Animal and Poultry Sciences and organized in cooperation with the German based ISR/Oldenburg NA, but still presents a significant cost to individual students.
